NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting U31668 Charlock Road from its junction with C148 Kilverstone Road for 140m southwards (including Tesco Car Park roundabout) in the TOWN OF THETFORD because of carriageway repairs.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 17:00 on 9th and 06:00 on 10th October 2022; and 17:00 on 16th and 06:00 on 17th October 2022 for the duration of the works only whilst signs indicating the closure are in place.
Alternative route is via: Charlock Road, Rosecroft Way, Hurth Way, Hurth Way Roundabout, Mundford Road Roundabout, Norwich Road, Kilverstone Road (Thetford, Brettenham, Kilverstone, Croxton
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
